Maverick Sq double shooting UPDATE

ROGELIO ALVARADO

Earlier today Transit Police Detectives executed a search warrant in the vicinity of 55 White Street, East Boston relative to a double shooting that occurred on January 19, 2016 at the MBTAs Maverick Sq. Blue Line station. Transit Police detectives have also secured an arrest warrant for the individual we believe is responsible, a ROGELIO ALVARADO, 21, (last known address in East Boston) for Armed Assault w/Intent to Murder, Assault & Battery w/ a Dangerous Weapon and multiple Firearm violations. ALVARADO should be considered Armed and Dangerous.
