Wanted man from Douglas MA arrested by TPD

On February 24, 2016 at approximately 6PM Transit Police officers were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTAs Park Street Station. While there they observed a male, later identified as Joseph Williams, 24, of Douglas, MA. near the entrance of the station. Officers believed Williams had warrants in existence for his arrest. Officers approached Williams and subsequently confirmed he was wanted out of Worcester District Court for Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct and Westborough District Court for Destruction of Property Over 250.00 and B&E Nighttime for Felony Purposes. Williams was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
