If you would like to assist our investigators but wish to remain anonymous you can always text us your tip to 873873 or use the anonymous feature on our SeeSay appOn August 10, 2016 at approximately 7:57PM the male subject depicted within entered onto the Right of Way at the MBTAs Aquarium Station and proceeded into the tunnel. This caused a delay and disruption in service. Several Transit Police personnel responded to the scene and conducted an area search to include entering into the tunnel. Officers were unable to locate the individual. A preliminary investigation has suggested the unknown males purpose was to obtain a "selfie" inside the tunnel.
This type of behavior will not be tolerated. This criminal act could have turned deadly, it placed TPD officers and MBTA employees in harms way and greatly inconvenienced our riding public.
