On July 17, 2016 at approximately 10PM a Transit Police officer assigned to the North District received a radio call to respond to the Kendall Sq. MBTA station to investigate a possible assault. Upon arrival the officer met with the victims mother who informed the officer that while travelling on an MBTA bus enroute to Kendall Sq. her thirteen (13) year old daughter was indecently assaulted. The victims mother further informed the officer the perpetrator had just entered the Kendall MBTA station. The officer immediately proceeded to the platform area and located the offending male, later identified as Yunior Mayorga-Galvez, 21, of Somerville. Mayorga-Galvez was positively identified by witnesses present and placed into custody for Indecent Assault & Battery on a Person under 14. Mayorga-Galvez was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process and it is expected he will be arraigned sometime today in Cambridge District Court.

On November 30, 2016 at approximately 5:10PM a male victim reported to the Transit Police he was indecently assaulted while travelling on an inbound Red Line train in the vicinity of Andrew Sq. MBTA station. On December 6, 2016, after an extensive investigation by Transit Police Detectives, Adair DosSantos, 49, of Dorchester was placed into custody for the alleged offence at Andrew Sq. MBTA station by Transit Police.




 DosSantos was transported to TPD HQ for the booking process and was arraigned in South Boston District Court for Indecent Assault & Battery on a person Over 14 .

On December 28, 2016 at approximately 7:45PM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District received a radio call to respond to the MBTAs Riverside Station located in Newton for a report of an MBTA employee who the victim of an Indecent Assault & Battery. Upon arrival the officers were met by the victim who informed the officers of the following: while travelling on a Green Line trolley en route to Riverside a male, later identified as John Alves, 34, of Quincy indecently assaulted the victim. Upon arriving at Riverside Alves exited the train and approached another MBTA employee and stated "  I just wanted to give her a hug and kiss".

Alves was located nearby, positively identified and placed into custody for Indecent Assault & Battery. Alves was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. During this process it was discovered there was an arrest warrant in existence for his arrest issued from Brookline District Court for Receiving Stolen Motor Vehicle, Operating Recklessly and Operating without a License.
