Larceny Investigation leads to arrest at South Station Bus Terminal

On January 8, 2017 at approximately 10:15AM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTAs South Station Bus Terminal for a report of a larceny. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim who informed the officers an unknown witness approached him and described two males who walked off with his travel bag. The officers quickly located two males (in front of the Terminal) fitting the description provided and noticed the victims travel bag was secreted behind a door but in close proximity to the sp males.

Officers approached the males, later identified as Amo Rodriguez, 38, of Lowell and Jaime White, 27, of East Boston. Officers discovered  White  had a warrant in existence for his arrest issued out of Worcester District Court for Possession of a Class A Substance and Rodriguez was in violation of the States Sex Offender Registrys Laws. Both subjects were placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.


The victim was reunited with his possessions and did wish to pursue any charges.

Boston man identified located arrested in Lewdness investigation

Boston man identified located arrested in Lewdness investigation

On April 28, 2016 the Transit Police posted photographs of a person of interest relative to an Open & Gross Lewdness investigation. (see posting here). Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police detectives, Keith Smith, 21, of Dorchester was placed into custody on 04/28/2016. It is expected Smith will be arraigned sometime today in Dorchester District Court.



During Smiths booking process it was discovered there were two warrants in existence for his arrest issued from Roxbury District Court for Trespassing and Dedham District Court B&E-Felony and Larceny Over 250.00

Follow Investigation leads to arrest

On June 22, 2016 at approximately 5:25PM Transit Police officers working in the Central District took a report from a female who informed the officers she was assaulted and had her Apple iPhone stolen from her while she was on the MBTAs Downtown Crossing Red Line platform. Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police detectives, Bianca Telheiro, 20, of Boston was arrested on June 23, 2016 at Park Street Station for Larceny Over 250.00 and Assault. Telheiro was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. Telheiro was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division.
