Cambridge man arrested for Open Gross Lewdness

On December 10, 2015 at approximately 5:20pm Transit Police officers on patrol at the MBTAs Back Bay station were approached by a citizen who informed them there was a male, later identified as Keith Cochran, 56, of Cambridge committing a lewd act inside the Commuter Rail lobby. The reporting party went on to state there were numerous people in the vicinity of Cochran who could easily view his actions. Officers immediately proceeded in that direction and upon approach observed Cochran committing a lewd act. Officers placed Cochran into custody for Open & Gross Lewdness and transported him to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. Cochran was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division on todays date.

Boston man arrested for Lewdness on board MBTA train

On May 22, 2016 at approximately 10:30PM Transit Police officers assigned to the North District received a radio call to respond to the MBTAs Wellington Station for a report of a male who committed a public act of Lewdness. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim, a female, who furnished the following information:  while the victim was travelling on an inbound Orange Line train in the vicinity of Chinatown Station she observed a male, later identified as Gabriel Majok,, 37, of Boston committing a lewd act while attempting to engage the victim in conversation.


Officers approached Majok and placed him into custody for Open & Gross Lewdness and transported him to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

Boston man identified located arrested in Lewdness investigation

On April 28, 2016 the Transit Police posted photographs of a person of interest relative to an Open & Gross Lewdness investigation. (see posting here). Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police detectives, Keith Smith, 21, of Dorchester was placed into custody on 04/28/2016. It is expected Smith will be arraigned sometime today in Dorchester District Court.



During Smiths booking process it was discovered there were two warrants in existence for his arrest issued from Roxbury District Court for Trespassing and Dedham District Court B&E-Felony and Larceny Over 250.00

Dorchester man arrested for Open Gross Lewdness

On January 3, 2017 at approximately 11:30AM a Transit Police officer assigned to the Central District was on patrol at the MBTAs Back Bay station when he was approached by a commuter who informed him there was a male openly masturbating in the mens bathroom. The officer proceed to the bathroom and quickly located the offending male, later identified as William Aparicio, 67 of Dorchester. Aparicio was placed into custody for Open and Gross Lewdness and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
