Point of Entry Policing nets man wanted for Heroin Trafficking

On December 30, 2015 at approximately 10am Transit Police officers were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTAs Andrew Sq. station. While there they observed a male, later identified as David Arrufat, 26, of Quincy smoking from a cigarette with conspicuously posted "NO SMOKING" signs in the vicinity. Officers approached to inform Arrufat of the smoking laws as it pertains to the MBTA and subsequently discovered he was wanted for Trafficking in Heroin out of Boston Municipal Court-Central Division. Arrufat was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
