Zarp Local Network Attack Framework

Zarp Local Network Attack Framework

Zarp is a network attack tool centered around the exploitation of local networks. This does not include system exploitation, but rather abusing networking protocols and stacks to take over, infiltrate, and knock out. Sessions can be managed to quickly poison and sniff multiple systems at once, dumping sensitive information automatically or to the attacker directly. Various sniffers are included to automatically parse usernames and passwords from various protocols, as well as view HTTP traffic and more. DoS attacks are included to knock out various systems and applications. These tools open up the possibility for very complex attack scenarios on live networks quickly, cleanly, and quietly.

The long-term goal of zarp is to become the master command center of a network; to provide a modular, well-defined framework that provides a powerful overview and in-depth analysis of an entire network. This will come to light with the future inclusion of a web application front-end, which acts as the television screen, whereas the CLI interface will be the remote. This will provide network topology reports, host relationships, and more. zarp aims to be your window into the potential exploitability of a network and its hosts, not an exploitation platform itself; it is the manipulation of relationships and trust felt within local intranets. Look for zeb, the web-app frontend to zarp, sometime in the future.

Nmap 6 47 Free Security Scanner For Network Exploration Security Audits

Nmap 6 47 Free Security Scanner For Network Exploration Security Audits

Nmap is a utility for port scanning large networks, although it works fine for single hosts. Sometimes you need speed, other times you may need stealth. In some cases, bypassing firewalls may be required. Not to mention the fact that you may want to scan different protocols (UDP, TCP, ICMP, etc.). Nmap supports Vanilla TCP connect() scanning, TCP SYN (half open) scanning, TCP FIN, Xmas, or NULL (stealth) scanning, TCP ftp proxy (bounce attack) scanning, SYN/FIN scanning using IP fragments (bypasses some packet filters), TCP ACK and Window scanning, UDP raw ICMP port unreachable scanning, ICMP scanning (ping-sweep), TCP Ping scanning, Direct (non portmapper) RPC scanning, Remote OS Identification by TCP/IP Fingerprinting, and Reverse-ident scanning. Nmap also supports a number of performance and reliability features such as dynamic delay time calculations, packet timeout and retransmission, parallel port scanning, detection of down hosts via parallel pings.

Nmap is ...
  • Flexible: Supports dozens of advanced techniques for mapping out networks filled with IP filters, firewalls, routers, and other obstacles. This includes many port scanning mechanisms (both TCP & UDP), OS detection, version detection, ping sweeps, and more. See the documentation page.
  • Powerful: Nmap has been used to scan huge networks of literally hundreds of thousands of machines.
  • Portable: Most operating systems are supported, including Linux, Microsoft Windows, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, IRIX, Mac OS X, HP-UX, NetBSD, Sun OS, Amiga, and more.
  • Easy: While Nmap offers a rich set of advanced features for power users, you can start out as simply as "nmap -v -A targethost". Both traditional command line and graphical (GUI) versions are available to suit your preference. Binaries are available for those who do not wish to compile Nmap from source.
  • Free: The primary goals of the Nmap Project is to help make the Internet a little more secure and to provide administrators/auditors/hackers with an advanced tool for exploring their networks. Nmap is available for free download, and also comes with full source code that you may modify and redistribute under the terms of the license.
  • Well Documented: Significant effort has been put into comprehensive and up-to-date man pages, whitepapers, tutorials, and even a whole book! Find them in multiple languages here.
  • Supported: While Nmap comes with no warranty, it is well supported by a vibrant community of developers and users. Most of this interaction occurs on the Nmap mailing lists. Most bug reports and questions should be sent to the nmap-dev list, but only after you read the guidelines. We recommend that all users subscribe to the low-traffic nmap-hackers announcement list. You can also find Nmap on Facebook and Twitter. For real-time chat, join the #nmap channel on Freenode or EFNet.
  • Acclaimed: Nmap has won numerous awards, including "Information Security Product of the Year" by Linux Journal, Info World and Codetalker Digest. It has been featured in hundreds of magazine articles, several movies, dozens of books, and one comic book series. Visit the press pagefor further details.
  • Popular: Thousands of people download Nmap every day, and it is included with many operating systems (Redhat Linux, Debian Linux, Gentoo, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, etc). It is among the top ten (out of 30,000) programs at the Freshmeat.Net repository. This is important because it lends Nmap its vibrant development and user support communities.

Changelog Nmap 6.47:
o Integrated all of your IPv4 OS fingerprint submissions since June 2013
(2700+ of them). Added 366 fingerprints, bringing the new total to 4485.
Additions include Linux 3.10 - 3.14, iOS 7, OpenBSD 5.4 - 5.5, FreeBSD 9.2,
OS X 10.9, Android 4.3, and more. Many existing fingerprints were improved.
Highlights: http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2014/q3/325 [Daniel Miller]

o (Windows, RPMs) Upgraded the included OpenSSL to version 1.0.1i. [Daniel Miller]

o (Windows) Upgraded the included Python to version 2.7.8. [Daniel Miller]

o Removed the External Entity Declaration from the DOCTYPE in Nmaps XML. This
was added in 6.45, and resulted in trouble for Nmap XML parsers without
network access, as well as increased traffic to Nmaps servers. The doctype
is now:

o [Ndiff] Fixed the installation process on Windows, which was missing the
actual Ndiff Python module since we separated it from the driver script.
[Daniel Miller]

o [Ndiff] Fixed the ndiff.bat wrapper in the zipfile Windows distribution,
which was giving the error, "Microsoft was unexpected at this time." See
https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2524009 [Daniel Miller]

o [Zenmap] Fixed the Zenmap .dmg installer for OS X. Zenmap failed to launch,
producing this error:
Could not import the zenmapGUI.App module:
dlopen(/Applications/Zenmap.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python2.6/lib-dynload/glib/_glib.so, 2):
Library not loaded: /Users/david/macports-10.5/lib/libffi.5.dylib
Referenced from:
/Applications/Zenmap.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python2.6/lib-dynload/glib/_glib.so
Reason: image not found.

o [Ncat] Fixed SOCKS5 username/password authentication. The password length was
being written in the wrong place, so authentication could not succeed.
Reported with patch by Pierluigi Vittori.

o Avoid formatting NULL as "%s" when running nmap --iflist. GNU libc converts
this to the string "(null)", but it caused segfault on Solaris. [Daniel Miller]

o [Zenmap][Ndiff] Avoid crashing when users have the antiquated PyXML package
installed. Python tries to be nice and loads it when we import xml, but it
isnt compatible. Instead, we force Python to use the standard library xml
module. [Daniel Miller]

o Handle ICMP admin-prohibited messages when doing service version detection.
Crash reported by Nathan Stocks was: Unexpected error in NSE_TYPE_READ
callback. Error code: 101 (Network is unreachable) [David Fifield]

o [NSE] Fix a bug causing http.head to not honor redirects. [Patrik Karlsson]

o [Zenmap] Fix a bug in DiffViewer causing this crash:
TypeError: GtkTextBuffer.set_text() argument 1 must be string or read-only
buffer, not NmapParserSAX
Crash happened when trying to compare two scans within Zenmap. [Daniel Miller]

LOIC 1 0 8 Low Orbit Ion Cannon A network stress testing application

LOIC 1 0 8 Low Orbit Ion Cannon A network stress testing application

Low Orbit Ion Cannon (LOIC) is an open source network stress testing and denial-of-service attack application, written in C#. LOIC was initially developed by Praetox Technologies, but was later released into the public domain, and now is hosted on several open source platforms.

LOIC performs a denial-of-service (DoS) attack (or when used by multiple individuals, a DDoS attack) on a target site by flooding the server with TCP or UDP packets with the intention of disrupting the service of a particular host. People have used LOIC to join voluntary botnets. The software inspired the creation of an independent JavaScript version called JS LOIC, as well as LOIC-derived web version called Low Orbit Web Cannon. These enable a DoS from a web browser.

THC Hydra 8 1 Network Logon Cracker

THC Hydra 8 1 Network Logon Cracker

 A very fast network logon cracker which support many different services.

See feature sets and services coverage page - incl. a speed comparison against ncrack and medusa.Number one of the biggest security holes are passwords, as every password security study shows.

This tool is a proof of concept code, to give researchers and security consultants the possiblity to show how easy it would be to gain unauthorized access from remote to a system.

There are already several login hacker tools available, however none does either support more than one protocol to attack or support parallized connects.

It was tested to compile cleanly on Linux, Windows/Cygwin, Solaris, FreeBSD/OpenBSD, QNX (Blackberry 10) and OSX.

Currently this tool supports the following protocols:
Asterisk, AFP, Cisco AAA, Cisco auth, Cisco enable, CVS, Firebird, FTP, HTTP-FORM-GET, HTTP-FORM-POST, HTTP-GET, HTTP-HEAD, HTTP-PROXY, HTTPS-FORM-GET, HTTPS-FORM-POST, HTTPS-GET, HTTPS-HEAD, HTTP-Proxy, ICQ, IMAP, IRC, LDAP, MS-SQL, MYSQL, NCP, NNTP, Oracle Listener, Oracle SID, Oracle, PC-Anywhere, PCNFS, POP3, POSTGRES, RDP, Rexec, Rlogin, Rsh, SAP/R3, SIP, SMB, SMTP, SMTP Enum, SNMP v1+v2+v3, SOCKS5, SSH (v1 and v2), SSHKEY, Subversion, Teamspeak (TS2), Telnet, VMware-Auth, VNC and XMPP.

Wireless Network Watcher v1 72 Show who is connected to your wireless network

Wireless Network Watcher v1 72 Show who is connected to your wireless network

Wireless Network Watcher is a small utility that scans your wireless network and displays the list of all computers and devices that are currently connected to your network.

For every computer or device that is connected to your network, the following information is displayed: IP address, MAC address, the company that manufactured the network card, and optionally the computer name.

You can also export the connected devices list into html/xml/csv/text file, or copy the list to the clipboard and then paste into Excel or other spreadsheet application.

Using Wireless Network Watcher

Wireless Network Watcher doesnt require any installation process or additional dll files. In order to start using it, simply extract the executable file (WNetWatcher.exe) from the zip file, and run it.

If you want, you can also download WNetWatcher with full install/uninstall support (wnetwatcher_setup.exe), so a shortcut for running WNetWatcher will be automatically added into your start menu.

After running WNetWatcher, it automatically locates your wireless adapter, and scans your network. After a few seconds, you should start see the list of computers that are currently connected to your network.

If from some reason, WNetWatcher failed to locate and scan your network, you can try to manually choosing the correct network adapter, by pressing F9 (Advanced Options) and choosing the right network adapter.

Columns Description

  • IP Address: IP Address of the device or computer.
  • Device Name: The name of the device or computer. This field may remain empty if the computer or the device doesnt provide its name.
  • MAC Address: The MAC address of the network adapter.
  • Network Adapter Company:The company that manufactured the network adapter, according to the MAC Address. This column can help you to detect the type of the device or computer. For example, if the company name is Apple, the device is probably a Mac computer, iPhone, or iPad.
    if the company name is Nokia, the device is probably a cellular phone of Nokia.

    By default, this utility uses an internal MAC addresses database stored inside the .exe file, but its not always updated with the latest MAC address assignments.
    You can manually download the latest MAC addresses file from http://standards.ieee.org/develop/regauth/oui/oui.txtand then put oui.txt in the same folder where WNetWatcher.exe is located. When you run WNetWatcher.exe, itll automatically load and use the external oui.txt instead of the internal MAC addresses database.
  • Device Information:This column displays Your Computer if the device is the computer that you currently use. This column displays Your Router if the device is the wireless router.
  • User Text:You can assign your own text to any device detected by WNetWatcher. By default, this field is filled with the device name. In order to change the User Text, simply double-click the item and type the desired text.
  • Active:Specifies whether this device is currently active. When a device is not detected anymore, the Active value is turned from Yes to No

Background Scan

Starting from version 1.15, there is a new option under the Options menu - Background Scan.
When its turned on, Wireless Network Watcher first make the regular fast network scan to discover all current connected devices. After that, a continuous background scan is activated to discover when new devices are connected to your network. The background scan is slower and less intensive then the regular scan, so it wont overload your computer and you can leave it to run in the background while using other programs.
When the background scan is running, a counter of the scan process is displayed in the second section of the bottom status bar.
When the background scan is used, you can use the Beep On New Device option to get a beep sound when a new device is detected.

Command-Line Options

/cfg <Filename> Start Wireless Network Watcher with the specified configuration file. For example:
WNetWatcher.exe /cfg "c:configwnw.cfg"
WNetWatcher.exe /cfg "%AppData%WNetWatcher.cfg"
/stext <Filename> Scan your network, and save the network devices list into a regular text file.
/stab <Filename> Scan your network, and save the network devices list into a tab-delimited text file.
/scomma <Filename> Scan your network, and save the network devices list into a comma-delimited text file (csv).
/stabular <Filename> Scan your network, and save the network devices list into a tabular text file.
/shtml <Filename> Scan your network, and save the network devices list into HTML file (Horizontal).
/sverhtml <Filename> Scan your network, and save the network devices list into HTML file (Vertical).
/sxml <Filename> Scan your network, and save the network devices list into XML file.

Isowall A mini firewall that completely isolates a target device from the local network

Isowall A mini firewall that completely isolates a target device from the local network

This is a mini-firewall that completely isolates a target device from the local network. This is for allowing infected machines Internet access, but without endangering the local network.

Building

This project depends upon libpcap, and of course a C compiler.
On Debian, the following should work:
# apt-get install git gcc make libpcap-dev
# git clone https://github.com/robertdavidgraham/isowall
# cd isowall
# make

This will put the binary isowall in the local isowall/bin directory.
This should also work on Windows, Mac OS X, xBSD, and pretty much any operating system that supports libpcap.

Running

First, setup a machine with three network interfaces.

The first network interface (like eth0) will be configured as normal, with a TCP/IP stack, so that you can SSH to it.

The other two network interfaces should have no TCP/IP stack, no IP address, no anything. This is the most important configuration step, and the most common thing youll get wrong. For example, the DHCP software on the box may be configured to automatically send out DHCP requests on these additional interfaces. You have to go fix that so nothing is bound to these interfaces.

To run, simply type:
# ./bin/isowall --internal eth1 --external eth2 -c xxxx.conf

where xxxx.conf contains your configuration, which is described below.

Configuration

The following shows a typical configuration file.
internal = eth1
internal.target.ip = 10.0.0.129
internal.target.mac = 02:60:8c:37:87:f3

external = eth2
external.router.ip = 10.0.0.1
external.router.mac = 66:55:44:33:22:11

allow = 0.0.0.0/0
block = 192.168.0.0/16
block = 10.0.0.0/8
block = 224.0.0.0-255.255.255.255

The target device we are isolating has the indicated IP and MAC address.

Only IPv4 and ARP packets are passed.

Outbound packets must have the following conditions:
  • source MAC address equal to internal.target.mac
  • destination MAC address equal to external.router.mac
  • EtherType of 0x800 or 0x806
  • source IPv4 address equal to internal.target.ip
  • destination IPv4 address within an allow range, but not in a block range
  • if an ARP packet, then the destination IPv4 address must equal that external.router.ip
  • if an ARP packet, must be a "request"

Inbound packets must have the following conditions:
  • destination MAC address equal to internal.target.mac
  • source MAC address equal to external.router.mac
  • EtherType of 0x800 or 0x806
  • destination IPv4 address equal to internal.target.ip
  • source IPv4 address within an allow range, but not in a block range
  • if an ARP packet, then the source IPv4 address must equal that external.router.ip
  • if an ARP packet, then must be a "reply"

WhoIsConnectedSniffer Detect who is connected to your network without scanning

WhoIsConnectedSniffer Detect who is connected to your network without scanning

WhoIsConnectedSniffer is a network discovery tool that listens to network packets on your network adapter using a capture driver (WinpCap or MS network monitor) and accumulates a list of computer and devices currently connected to your network. WhoIsConnectedSniffer uses various protocols to detect the computers connected to your network, including ARP, UDP, DHCP, mDNS, and BROWSER.

For every detected computer or device, the following information is displayed: (Some of the fields might be empty if the information cannot be found inside the packets) IP Address, MAC Address, name of the device/computer, description, Operating System, Network Adapter Company, IPv6 Address.
After collecting the connected computers/devices information, you can easily export the list to tab-delimited/comma-delimited/xml/html file.

Start Using WhoIsConnectedSniffer

Except of the capture driver, WhoIsConnectedSniffer doesnt require any installation process or additional dll files. In order to start using it, simply run the executable file - WhoIsConnectedSniffer.exe
After running WhoIsConnectedSniffer in the first time, you should choose the correct capture driver and the network adapter you want to use.

After you choose the desired capture driver and the network adapter, WhoIsConnectedSniffer starts to listen the packets on your network adapter and updates the main window when a device or computer is detected.

You have to wait from a few seconds to a few minutes until the first computers/devices appear on the main window of WhoIsConnectedSniffer.

After collecting the connected computers/devices information, you can easily export the list to tab-delimited/comma-delimited/xml/html file by selecting all items (Ctrl+A), and then using the Save Selected Items option (Ctrl+S).

Protocols supported by WhoIsConnectedSniffer

  • ARP:WhoIsConnectedSniffer listens to this protocol to get the IP address and MAC address of computers and devices.
  • UDP:When a computer broadcasts a UDP packet to all other computers, WhoIsConnectedSniffer extracts from it the IP address and the MAC address.
  • DHCP:When a computer connects to the network, it usually sends a DHCP request. WhoIsConnectedSniffer uses this request to get the host name and IP address of the computer.
  • mDNS:This protocol is used on Linux and Mac OS systems. WhoIsConnectedSniffer uses it to get the host name and IP address of the computer, and also the operating system (on Linux)
  • BROWSER:This protocol is mainly used by Windows, but some Linux systems supports this protocol too. WhoIsConnectedSniffer uses it to get the name of the computer, description text of the computer, and the operating system.
