On September 29, 2016 at approximately 10:00PM members of the TPDs Crime Suppression Team were on patrol at the MBTAs Andrew Sq. station when their attention was drawn to a male, later identified as Stephen Berry, 46, of South Boston. Berry fare evaded through the fare gates by "Piggybacking" in behind a paying patron. Officers approached Berry to issue a citation and subsequently discovered he had several warrants in existence for his arrest issued by Quincy District Court for Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, Larceny Over 250.00, Receiving Stolen Property and Receiving a Stolen MV.
