Boston man arrested for Open Gross Conduct while on the MBTA

On March 27, 2016 at approximately 8:45PM the two female passengers while traveling on a Red Line train in the vicinity of Park Street Station noticed a male sitting directly across from them intentionally exposing his genitals. The offending male exited at Park Street Station and according to a witness may have attempted to "grope" another female as she ascended up the stairs.

On April 4, 2016 at approximately 4:45PM, after a thorough investigation by Transit Police Detectives, Robert McCarty, 40, of Boston was arrested at MBTA Harvard Sq., Station for two counts of Open & Gross Lewdness. McCarty was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. McCarty was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division.
